Veil of Shadows was created from a desire to explore what hides beneath the surface… the forms we sense but never fully see.
Working with layers of black, grey, and soft beige, I let the textures guide me, blending the bold with the barely there. The result feels like something in motion, a presence revealing and retreating all at once. There’s both strength and softness here, a tension I kept returning to as I painted.
For me, this piece is about mystery and the quiet weight of words unsaid.
