In a world that rarely stops moving, The Quiet Within is my attempt to capture a single breath of stillness. This piece was born out of my own search for calm — a visual meditation on what it means to pause, to listen, and to simply exist amid the constant noise of modern life.
The closed eyes and muted tones represent that inward turning — the space between chaos and clarity. Through layers of neutral colour and raw, expressive lines, I wanted to convey the beauty that exists in restraint.
For me, creating this work was a meditative act — a process of slowing down enough to let emotion settle into form. I hope that when others stand before it, they feel invited to do the same: to breathe, to pause, and to find a quiet moment within themselves.
