A Moment of Stillness was inspired by that fleeting pause between dusk and dawn… when the sky shifts softly, and the world feels suspended in quiet. I’ve always been drawn to those in-between moments, where change is happening, but everything is still.
Using deep blues, soft blush, and pale turquoise, I wanted to capture the emotional weight of that silence. The textured layers allowed me to build depth that feels both grounded and floating — like clouds passing over a darkened landscape, or memory surfacing through calm.
This piece is an invitation to pause, let the noise fade, and just be with the stillness. In creating it, I found my own sense of balance.
